Introducing a second piece to my "Horizon" series in the "Reverie" collection, where a daydream meets the canvas.
This is a warmer, more grounded counterpart to Horizon - an abstracted landscape where quiet tones of clay, ochre, and soft charcoal settle into one another. There’s a feeling of calm again, but this time rooted rather than suspended.
The horizon here is more pronounced - anchoring the composition with a steady presence. Softly textured layers create a sense of atmosphere and depth, as if land is forming or emerging from low light or early haze.
Hints of warm gold and earth tone pigments surface across the canvas, offering contrast while still allowing the piece to feel soft, weathered, and organic.
I see Horizon II as a space for reflection with a slightly different energy - more tactile, more earthy.
