The Commission Process

Discovery Call

Every commission begins with a one-to-one consultation to explore inspiration, colour preferences, textures, and the atmosphere envisioned for the finished piece.

Sizing, framing, and composition are discussed in detail - whether inspired by an existing Coppini Art style, reference imagery, or colours drawn directly from your interior such as wall tones, textiles, or statement furnishings.

Together, the concept is refined to ensure the final artwork aligns beautifully with your expectations and environment.

Investment & Pricing

After our initial call, a tailored quotation is provided based on:

  • Style and colour palette
  • Materials and texture
  • Bespoke framing

Typical commissioned artwork sizes included below; however they will differ depending on style, colour palette variations and mediums used:

Portrait/landscape orientation:

40 x 70 cm - ranging from £500 to £750
60 x 90 cm - ranging from £750 to £1000
100 x 70 cm - ranging from £1000 to £1250
120 x 100 cm - ranging from £1750+


Square orientation:

60 x 60 cm - ranging from £700 to £900
80 x 80 cm - ranging from £850 to £1000
100 x 100 cm - ranging from £1250+

 

A 50% deposit secures the booking and production schedule, with the remaining balance due on completion prior to shipping.

All prices include bespoke framing, UK delivery, and VAT. International delivery can be quoted on request.

A simple commission agreement is provided to clearly outline scope, timelines, and expectations - ensuring a smooth, professional, and enjoyable collaboration.

Lead Times

Commissioned artworks typically require 8–12 weeks for completion.
A more precise timeline is confirmed once the deposit is received.

Progress Updates

Commissioning art is a collaborative experience.

Detailed photographs are shared on completion to review framing, texture, and final details before dispatch.

If small refinements are needed, these can be discussed to ensure the finished artwork feels exactly right for your space.

Delivery

Finished artworks are carefully packaged for secure transit, with UK deliveries usually arranged at the beginning of the week to minimise time in transit.

Personal delivery may also be available within a reasonable distance of Portsmouth, South England.
