Another of my more classically abstract pieces, depicting stillness and depth, almost a foggy landscape with gold accents, suspended but with a sense of calm.
Soft, diffused light across a quiet landscape - built up in gentle layers, the painting invites stillness - an open space where sky and water dissolve into one another.
The horizon is just barely defined, anchoring the scene without dominating it. Hints of deep blue, slate, and muted gold emerge subtly, with texture and contrast while keeping the horizon visible.
