This large-scale work moves through layers of cool grey, slate, and soft blue-green, shifting and dissolving across the canvas in the way clouds do when the wind is barely there. The palette is neither day nor night -it sits somewhere in between, suspended in that quiet, transitional moment when the world feels both heavy and open at once.
A wash of muted rose and dusty blush runs through the mid-ground, low and unhurried, like the last trace of warmth held in a fading sky. It doesn't announce itself - it simply exists, tucked beneath the movement above and the deeper, darker tones that anchor the base of the canvas.
The lower half carries real weight. Deep teal and near-black build up through layered texture, grounding the piece and giving it a sense of earth beneath all that sky.

Putting a piece up for auction feels like a big step, and the imposter syndrome is very real. There's something about setting a bidding process to work you've poured yourself into that feels both exciting and equally terrifying.
