About
I’m Lisa - the artist behind Coppini Art.
My artistic journey began in school and college, and blossomed into Coppini Art. In 2023, I found myself at a crossroads - my passion for creating art or focusing on my career in Marketing. I chose Art, and it’s been a journey I don't regret. Choosing art felt scary, exciting, but completely right.
I make abstract, textured paintings inspired by either calm horizons, layered landscapes or just intuitive little details that make a space feel grounded. I’m drawn to texture you want to reach out and touch, soft metallics, and colour palettes that feel soothing rather than shouty.
My studio practice is led by curiosity. I love learning new techniques, investing in my skills, and letting materials guide the process - sometimes that means a clear idea, sometimes it means following the paint and seeing where it lands. My 'Horizon' collection, in particular, has become a place I return to again and again: that meeting point between land and sky, stillness and movement.
I create work for people who care about how their home feels. Pieces that sit quietly in a room, bring a sense of calm, and reveal something new the longer you live with them. Whether it’s an original painting or a print, I want my work to feel like it belongs in your space.
Alongside my own collections, I also take on a small number of commissions each year. These are collaborative, thoughtful, and shaped around your home, your palette, and what you want the piece to feel like.
If you’re here browsing, thank you for taking the time. And if a piece speaks to you - I’d love it to find its way into your home.
Artfully yours,
Lisa
The Creative Spa, 12-19 December, Wickham
I had a wonderful opportunity to do something a little bit different. Taking the learnings from a recent tuition class with Rebecca Morris, I tried something on a smaller scale, using blending techniques I'd learnt.
The lovely Jennifer invited me to showcase my mini triptych 'In the Clouds' at her studio space in Wickham.
Hotwalls Festive Creative, November 2025, Southsea
Another fab way to end the year at Hotwalls in Southsea. This year I was kindly put in the Round Tower, which was a game changer. My artwork stayed dry and collectors wanted to talk a little bit longer in the warm!
